Dole Papayas or pawpaws, as they are known in Australia and New Zealand, are grown in the sunny island of Mindanao in the Philippines. Our papayas boast a sweet taste and silky texture along with a powerhouse of antioxidants and vitamins A, E, and C.

Papayas need a lot of sun and rainfall to grow, which is why it flourishes in tropical climates. It takes around 6-11 months to grow a papaya. A single papaya tree can produce an average of 34 kgs of fruit per year.
